The Inland Empire Lighthouse for the Blind, Inc. is a place where adults and children who are visually impaired can receive training to overcome the disabling effects of blindness or visual impairment. It is a place where they can prepare themselves to resume a full and normal life.
All classes, instruction, materials, meals, transportation and referral services are provided at no charge to the totally and legally blind. The Lighthouse does not receive funds from the Federal, State, County, City, or from United Way. Our primary means of support emanates from fundraising, Wills, and Trusts.
Our blind students are most grateful to all their friends in the Inland Empire who have made our dream come true!
*The Lighthouse for the Blind is organized as a nonprofit corporation and is governed by a Board of Directors. Community leaders from Business, Industry, Labor and the Professions serve on the 18 member Board without compensation.
